I know there is tree and grass pollen but right now the tree is winning over. Someone in our area is cutting down almost all the trees on their property and I opened the door going out to the car today for work only to start sneezing with the watery eyes.
That is why I stock up on things like Zyrtec. You never know when everyone might decide to mow their lawns or chop their trees down. Allergies are a real pain!
For anyone that knows, how bad do you have to actually be before a doctor will prescribe you something stronger than an over the counter allergy med? My mother in law uses them and swears by it but I am not sure if mine are as bad as hers are.
I've had good luck with taking local honey. It has to be local though. One of the stores here sells it, and even has seasonal to make it more effective.
What exactly does honey do? I mean I know its great for random remedies but I have never read anything about honey and allergies before. Maybe I skipped that chapter in the book.

It has to do with the pollen the bees turn into honey. It is like taking shots to help cure allergies. I do not know to best describe it, but this may help.
