We woke up this morning and even the dogs did not want to go outside. I have a feeling we are not going to see spring for a good bit here. Even the grass is still frosted and its mid morning!

It's the same way down here in South Florida too. Last night, I had my balcony door open and was in my bedroom on my computer and I kept hearing the wind howling and blowing hard. I came out after a warm sunny day and my living room was freezing. I didn't realize it was going to get instantly cold. Now the wind is just bitter.

Well, consider yourself lucky if you at least warm up to above freezing during the day. We avoided the huge snowfall they had about 100 miles east of us, but I think it's coming. Seems like winter starts earlier and lasts longer every year.

When you factor in the wind chill we have had single digit temps in Michigan for 3 days. It is so bitter cold it brought tears to my eyes instantly.

I knew my complaining would stir the pot, today I woke and it was even colder! I can not even imagine how some of our neighbors keep outside pets and do not provide shelter for them when its this cold outside. I saw 4 dogs in the street before I even turned off my road this morning.
