Default Cat troubles

Our youngest cat (female, fixed) decided she would tear up our house. We pitched an expensive couch because she has destroyed it and while we do not want to give her up, we put her outside over the weekend. Its kind of sad, but I can not afford to replace furniture this much, it nuts. Anyone else with outside animals? Right now shes been trying to climb in the cars which kind of worries us.

Wow, sounds like you have a very crazy cat! How is she doing now? Do you still have her? I would be afraid that she would try to get into the car too, and then you would not know she was in there.

Yikes! Make sure the windows are up, huh? I think I'd be buying a carrier to keep her in when I wasn't home, unless she went completely feral and wouldn't come.

I have 2 cats that have their claws, but the boy listens and doesn't scratch things he isn't supposed to. The girl, however, doesn't listen at all and I think it fuels her to do with when she knows I don't want her to. I don't want to give her up because she is the most lovable cute cat, but she does scratch a bit too much.

I would buy a carrier too. Some older animals just seem to revert to pre-training days. My friends dog is 14 and she barks, jumps up on everyone and goes crazy at small animals like a puppy would.

I thought that this said "car troubles" for a moment, and then I see this talk about a cat. LOL!

Anyway, I suggest you definitely get her a crate again. That'll put the thing in line.

She is totally an outside only cat now and for the most part she loves it. She still depends on us for food and its upset with us when she is late getting her little bites but otherwise she loves the freedom.
