Default Damn

I just got back from the DMV and I have to be seen by an eye doc before I can get my license renewed. They did not even bother to ask if I could see to drive home and now I have to take off more work to run errands to get this straightened out. I am not entertained but I am back so I guess thats good news!

Do they really do that? Whenever, I have renewed my license, they never checked my eyes. Is this all over the US or in other country?

I had to get mine checked when I did a change of address. Always worries me that I will not pass. My family has a history of eye glasses, and I have no vision insurance.
