We have a set of family that we visit all the time, they are the closest that live to us and that we actually like. The problem? Their dog will piddle on any vehicle that drives in on "his farm" (they live out in the country).

It does not matter if the auto is clean or dirty, he will dirty it a little more. So who here has dealt with this before and how do you protect your auto from the piddle.

I'm hoping that he's doing this on the outside, and not somehow getting inside your car to do this! He's probably marking the vehicle as his, and really and truly, it will probably take some effort, a very watchful eye, and some training to get him to stop. You have to catch him in the act of getting ready to "go" every time he tries to do so on a vehicle, and remove him. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you!

I don't think there is anyway to stop this. If it was your dog, you could train him not to do that on cars. It isn't your dog, so you won't be able to break his habit.
