Drivers in movies
There are many movies whose main characters are drivers, like Driving Miss Daisy (Morgan Freeman), Speed (Sandra Bullock, an accidental driver), The Fast and The Furious series (Vin Diesel), and of course Taxi (Robert de Niro). So, who is your favorite driver in movies?

I don't have a favorite actor-driver because the real driving is done by stuntmen. These actors receive too much credit for their acting wherein the real action is done by stuntmen. I think only Jackie Chan is the stuntmen that became famous because of the stunts he had done.
Okay, enough of my rant and to go with the thread, I would choose Jason Statham of The Transporter Trilogy.

I am a huge movie buff but honestly as long as the movie is good overall I am game. If they cast wrong I am going to end up not liking it, and its not always the fault of the person who does the casting, but its a great way to lose fans. One person just might not be right for that role, you know?

In the movie Swordfish, Hugh Jackman did his own driving stunts with John Travolta in the passenger seat holding a big-*** gun!
I love Transporter too...

That's true to some extent. It's what differs real actors and actresses from movie stars. A real actor/actress has no issue performing different characters in different movies. We can mostly expect the best performance from the great performers like Al Pacino, Robert de Niro and Meryl Streep.

Now Taladega Nights! That is an awesome car movie. Ricky Bobby... So funny. Also every little boy I know (and I know 3) loves Cars the Disney/Pixar animated movie.

Transporter was a great movie, its one that I have no issues watching over and over again (same with Crank). Movies like that just get the blood moving.

I'm impressed of the movies entitled Gone in 60 Seconds (Nicholas Cage), Herbie Fully Loaded (Lindsay Lohan) and Death Race ( Jason Statham). These are great movies with cool drivers for me. Even if you'll watch it many times, you'll never get bored.

It seems that nobody mentioned here the name of Tom Cruise in the movie Days of Thunder. I've watched this movie almost twenty times with my hubby. For sure you have watched this movie.
