I know that the GPS set that I bought gave me 18 months worth of map upgrades. However I haven't upgraded in 6 months. How frequently do things change-how often should I be doing this?
I would constantly upgrade the maps if I were you. I live in San Diego and things are always changing around here (almost on a monthly basis) because there is so much more building going on. There are tons of new streets which means new and faster ways to get from point A to point B in my town.
