My better half ended up having to do shopping late this year due to work commitments and horrible over time (that was not planned). Since then he decided the best place for the presents are in the truck so when he is not home, I can not snoop.
Hmm, you must have been snooping to have figured that out! I don't know that I would have used the trunk, though, unless it were just my vehicle, exclusively.
I think that is smart! Hide them where he takes the vehicle and you won't snoop. For the longest time I hid the kids gifts in the trunk of my car. One day they opened it for something and saw them, I stopped doing that.
I would not hide them in my car because my significant other is snoopy and would find it. I hide them in the laundry room, because I know he won't be going in there!
No snooping this year I swear! He actually told me about it, first they were in the truck but I had to borrow it to do some hauling work so he ended up moving them into the car.
I don't try to hide anything. I wrap up all of the presents right away (or have them wrapped at the mall or store), and put them under the tree. I like for the tree to be full with gifts.
