I am so annoyed by people who lay on the horn for absolutely no reason. I mean if somebody pulls out in front of you by all means honk it. What I am talking about is people who honk when you don't move instantaneously after a light changes or something else relatively similar. Does this annoy you or are you a horn honker?

Yes, it's annoying, but I drive more serenely these days. The fact is that many drivers are jerks; impatient. Also, these days there is a lot of road rage. My goal is to get from Point A to Point B alive. Let 'em honk and just move forward calmly.

It annoys me too... I even hate it when people honk if I accidentally pull out in front of them. What annoys me even more is when they give me the finger. That is just uncalled for! I'm saying Sorry and they flip me the bird.

I only honk my horn when it is needed or when some person does something rude like cutting me off or something. I can't stand people who constantly lay on the horn. I think it's kind of rude to do it. Some people are so in a hurry that they will honk as soon as the light turns green.

I look to see if it's someone I know, and if not, I just roll my eyes at them. It doesn't hurt me any, and I figure they're just having a bad day.

When people do that I honk back and wave nicely. Kill the with kindness. One day it happened at a light after our little girl was born and most parents here know what its like when you first drive with your newborn, so I did the above and I remember the lady in the car to the left of me got what I was doing and she just cracked out laughing.

It drives me nuts when people do stupid stuff like that. If someone pulls out in front of me I usually just give them what I term "the look".

I don't honk my horn when someone cuts me off, I'm just concerned with my safety when that happens. I will honk if someone takes way too long to move after a light changes. I'll give them a few seconds, but after a while I figure they need a bit of a wake-up call. I'm not perfect, I've spaced out at a light once or twice in my life, and I was honked at. I don't think it's a rude thing to do at that point.

Donald, I think horn honking in general is annoying but sometimes it is understandable. I understand if it has been green for awhile but when the light is barely green and I haven't even had time to move my foot from my brake to my gas pedal that is a problem. I think people are just impatient sometimes and when they think it has been a long time, then they decide you are too slow or you are in their way.

My husband still thinks I am crazy but I would love to have a custom horn. "A-oooo-ga" would be one of them and I wonder if its against the law for a horn to yell "bad words" at someone who cuts you off?
