Default How many of you....

How many of you actually passed your driving test on the first try? I know that I did, but when I ask the majority of my friends they say that it took them 2 or 3 tries at least.

I passed the driving test on my 2nd time. The first time I failed for being "too cautious" according to what the woman wrote on the test. The 2nd time I only got docked 4 points, all for the same thing. I needed to make my head movements more obvious.

I passed the first time. Driver's training was easy for me. We sat in a class room for like a month taking notes and learning. Then we had 3 days on a practice course with cones and everything. Then we had 3 days with an instructor on the road. Passed the test with flying colors.

I will admit, it took me two times, before I passed my driver's test. The first time, I took the test, I think the lady was out to get me. I have heard, afterwards, that the lady failed a lot of people. On my next try, I went with a friend, to a closed driving course. I passed the test, on the closed course.

I passed the first time with no problems. I know that it's harder now to pass then it was when I got my license. I keep telling my daughter that she needs to practice a lot, since so many people fail the first time.

I'm not afraid to admit, I failed my driving test the first time. I was 16 and nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. The light turned green, I turned left without thinking about oncoming traffic. Pulled right out in front of another car! Thankfully he didn't hit me.

Now, 30 years later, I make my living by driving, whether it's a truck, bus or car. Who would have ever thunk it?

It seems to me like the reason most don't pass the first time (including me) is that they are too nervous. So much pressure is put on you to drive correctly that I think you end up making more errors than you would otherwise.
