Over the weekend at an Indy car race in Las Vegas, driver Dan Wheldon was killed when he was part of a horrible crash on the track. Things like this always make me sad but they are taking the risk when they race cars.
I heard about it, but I didn't catch the details. There were several cars that crashed right? But only Weldon died is what I recall. It's a dangerous way to make a living.
That was tragic. However, it is a risk all the drivers take. Imagine going
225+ mph in a super light turbo thruster on wheels for a living. Big risk, big reward. He was one of the best as well. Too bad.
