Today is the official last day of being able to legally text and drive in Michigan! I myself often text and drive but !. my number 1 priority is always the safety of myself and others and 2. I can text a complete paragraph without looking at my keypad on my phone. I think the biggest problem with this is teen drivers who completely take their focus off the road to use the phone. Any other Michigan drivers here? Who else has texting laws and how do you feel about them?

I will text and drive. But only at a stoplight. Otherwise I had the phone to the wife and tell her what to write. I think it is just as dangerous as eating, drinking, talking on the cell phone, putting on make up, reading, or some of the other things people do in their vehicles.
