Tire prices have really blown up in the past decade. The is something wrong with having to pay almost $1000 on a set of standard truck tires. Just ridiculous. I think it has to do with the petroleum used in the process?
I don't know why the prices are so outrageous now but I do agree that they are. For my new car - it's going to cost me close to $800 for 4 tires. That is just crazy!
Wow that is so expensive! I pay less than $500 for new tires on my car. I wonder why it is so expensive? Have you shopped around much or do you live in an area where that is not an option?
I always see good deals advertised at Pep Boys for tires. They usually have the "Buy Three Get One Free" deal going. But it's true - if you want really good tires, you'll have to pay for them.
