Default Sirius Radio

I got a free sirius radio from a neighbor (that had a year's worth of service and had never been used), but now the year is over. I am so bummed! I loved having all of those radio stations, but we are on a super tight budget now so we can't afford to buy another year's worth of service.

Can you sell these radios for someone else to use? Do people tend to buy used ones?

I don't really think you will be able to sell it unless is one of the best models. They usually provide the radios very cheap because they just want to get you hooked on their service. You got it for free, maybe you can give it to someone in your family for free so they only have to get the service.

Grats! I have not used it in a while myself but we have a few programs that we use at the house which we can pay monthly on, I think the newest is a redo of the Rhapsody one. Its not too bad since I can turn it on my cell, into the radio in the auto's and just listen to random new stuff when I have long road trips.

I agree, it would be hard to sell it for much because they are easy enough to get from Sirius.

We used to have Sirius also, and I missed it like crazy when we decided to cancel. The first time we decided to cancel we called and said we were cancelling because of finance issues. They gave us 6 free months to reconsider. We cancelled when the 6 months were up. Might be worth a call!

I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would be very happy to buy even a used radio. You may just want to prove to them that you really are the person who purchased it.

I'd say put on Craig's List in your area and see if you have any takers. You really have nothing to lose by giving that a try.
