Default Sleeping while husband is driving

Have you ever done this? I did more than a couple of times. I know I have to be awake to not influence the driver. But just sitting there for an hour or two, it's difficult to not get lulled especially after a day's trip.

How would your sleeping influence him? I've not had a problem with this if I am honest. If anything I find it easier as I like to be able to concentrate on the road rather than talking.

I used to slip as a kid, but now I do not. We used to do long 20+ hour drives, and I would sleep in the back. I sometimes get sleepy when in the back on long drives but if I'm in the front, I stay awake.

I try to stay awake when anyone is driving but there are times when I do doze off. When I'm supposed to be staying awake and reading directions is usually when I doze. When he does not need my help is when I'm wide awake!

If I'm a passenger on a long drive and it's been a tiring day, I can't help but fall asleep. It doesn't normally affect the driver, though; if anything, it helps!

I usually don't fall asleep when someone else is driving, probably because I don't like it when I'm riding with someone else. I like to be the driver and when I'm a passenger, I'm watching the road just like I would if I was driving. The drivers probably wish I was asleep.

Unless I need a navigator, I have no issue with everybody else in the car I drive sleeping. Though, I prefer them stay awake and chat with each other.

I am similar to you. I am used to driving alone so I would have no issue with my passengers sleeping. I also tend to sleep in the car when I am not driving.
