Family is coming to visit and that is what they request we try to find for them while they are here. I am trying to find stuff that will entertain everyone. The youngest person is 4 and the oldest is about 64, any suggestions?
I just send people who visit to Orlando. Plenty for them to choose from over there. I doubt it would work in your case though. Is there anything in your area?
Where are you from? Depending on where you are located, you may be lucky and have many "touristy stuff" around you. For where I live, the "touristy stuff" would consist of local (or state) parks, a baseball game (for cheap!), and a few little amusement parks. Good luck finding something to entertain your relatives with!
We are not in a large area to start with, the biggest issue is the age gap ranges from like 28 to 67. Who knows what these people like? I might just tell them to visit Google.
Take them to go mini golfing! Everyone loves mini golfing and it is great way to get everyone together. Old people can do it too, and it's nice to keep everyone moving.
So far they have suggested paint ball fights, movies and an art walk that I know the kids will be bored with. Its always trying to cram too much into too short of a time, never changes.
I would suggest not trying to find 1 thing to make everyone happy, as that rarely happens, but finding several things that will make most of them happy.
Do you have a zoo nearby? People seem to like just about anything related to animals. I think that a children's museum or even natural history museum would get everybody interested.
Today I laid the law down virtually (via email) only to have my spouse reply back (to ALL) and say "whatever everyone likes". What a week, I am glad its Friday now maybe over the weekend I can talk him into replying again to say he was out of his mind when he sent the last one!
