Default What was your first car/truck?

For me, it was a Dodge Rambler. That car had a slant-6 in it, and was tolerant of my youthful abuses (like not checking the oil).

What was your first ride?

Mine was nothing to brag about. A 72 white, Ford Mustang. And it fell apart as I drove it. My dad had bought a 69 T-Bird that he was going to give me for my 16th birthday, but he blew the engine on it. Huge disappointment...

A 1969 Dodge pickup with a camper on the back of it! The camper wasn't on it but for the Summer months, and I was thoroughly p**sed when my Dad decided to sell it BEFORE I had my licence: I owned it, and never drove it (yes, my name was actually on the papers, despite being a minor).

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Mine was a 1972 Plymouth Duster with a great big rust hole on the driver's side front fender! It was a super simple car to maintain. For $10 I could fill the tank!

I had a white 1980 Ford Pinto Pony. It had a standard transmission, 4-cylinder engine. Mine, too, could be filled up for $10, and that usually lasted me a couple weeks, at that time in my life. I miss that!

I can't believe it now, but it was a 1984 Dodge Caravan. I was in college, but I always loved the idea of traveling with lots of people. To this day, I love taking people with me every where I go.

I have to admit that I don't know what type of car was my first one. A friend of mine had a car in a garage she never used and offer it to me. I said yes without knowing what it was. It was a huge green car. It was pretty old. A classic that I wish I still had. I am pretty sure I would have made a bunch of money if I still had it. I was a freshman in college and had no idea what had landed on my lap. I got rid of it within 6 months.

I had a 1966 Delta 88. It was Aqua metallic. I'm convinced that cars that color won't die. I bought it in 1979 for $100 as a college student. I sold it a year later for $125!
