We had spring here for the past couple weeks. This morning however is a flashback into winter. I went out this morning and frost was covering everything, it was 30 degrees. Is everyone back in winter?
Right now. Tornado warnings, heavy rain, water spouts in the Gulf, winds up to 70mph. A friend lost a tree last night. Some spots when taking my daughter to school the river was overflowing into the road. 76 degrees. Tomorrow it will be back in the 80's though.
It has been raining like crazy and there is snow announced for tomorrow. I am so over winter that it is not even funny. Even with allergies in the forecast, I want to be dry and warm.
The weather's been pretty chilly lately. The house I'm staying in right now isn't very well insulated and so it's been pretty cold at night. I've had to use two or three blankets.
It was cooler today but not as cold as winter. We've had a lot of rain and storms this last week, which is fine because I'd rather have rain than to deal with the drought conditions we had in previous years.
I just can't get over this winter. The possibility of more snow is mind boggling. I just know that if there is snow on the ground tomorrow morning, I am going to SCREAM.
