I honestly do not like motorbikes. I think that no matter how careful a driver you are, there are still crazy people behind the wheel of their cars who do not give any hoot of a consideration for you.

Having said that, I still have no choice but to accept the fact that my baby brother is planning to buy one. I told him I will be buying his helmet and I will buy the best one to protect one's head IN CASE (heaven forbid!) one meets an accident.

Can someone help me with this please? What is the best bang for my buck in terms of helmet brands?

There many good brands of helmet. Some helmets are expensive and some are affordable. We are talking about head protection here so I prefer to choose the most durable and lighter weight. I recommend either Shoei or Arai brand of helmets. The price is higher but stylish, perfect shape and great quality.

I do not ride anymore but I have in the past. The only reason I am not riding now is that I tore my back up from yep, you guessed it, a bad car wreck. Someone ran a red light and slammed into us headon.
