Default Helmet Fit

What people don't talk about is that the fit of the helmet is just as important as wearing one in the first place. Wearing one that is too big or doesn't fit right can be dangerous even if you don't get in an accident.

So true. How often do you see a guy's helmet laying in the grass, yards from his bashed up head.

Even worse is using a helmet that's been in an accident. You even hear people bragging about the scrapes and dings on them as if they're proud of them. Don't they know that any accident just makes the helmet less effective?
