Since I took a trip out in one I have had a hankering for a bike and sidecar. I have some experience of a regular bike so how different would it be to be with a combo?
I've talked to my parents before about side cars. They said turns are harder, and people have been known to lay down their bike easier on turns with the side car. I would have though differently, but they have more motorcycle experience then I do.
I have always thought side cars were cool. I have been in a side car once and I decided that it is not the safest place to be. I don't ride in them anymore.
I ride bike but I never tried a sidecar. I think that would be so much difference between a bike and a sidecar. Though, I think at high speed there will be balance issues with the sidecar.
Unless you really need a sidecar I would ditch the idea too. I know a few friends of mine loved the idea of it and 2 of the 3 ended up selling the entire bike off b/c they could not sell "only the sidecar" and just ate the money spent on it.
Well, I never imagined that you can sell "just the sidecar", but I love the idea. I think there is always someone who has a bike and want to mount a sidecar to his bike.
Do you think it is possible to sell the sidecar in a garage sale? In most cases, there is always someone who need something you don't need or you want to get rid of.
How does that work exactly?? For some reason I keep thinking that only certain side cars would fit (without mod work) to certain bike types? I could be mistaken but I swear that's what I remember from a buddy of mine.
