I can't help it. When I see a motorcyclist on the road I am terrified. I give them plenty of room of course but I'm still scared. Anyone else know how I feel?

What are you afraid of? Most bikers know to be careful on the road, and *most* bikers don't do stupid things that would cause wrecks. While they don't *scare* me, I am more careful when a biker is in the vicinity.

Cruisers do not bother me, but it is the people on sport bikes who have no problem cutting in and out of traffic in the rain that bother me. Or trying to ride on one wheel, or cutting between cars on the white line doing 40+.

I know your feeling Top Gear. I have several reasons: 1. My best friend almost die in a motorcycle accident. 2. My brother was a good example of what no to do in a motorcycle. 3. I have been witness to a lot of irresponsible motorcyclists. 4. The noise just freaks me out.

On the other hand, I agree with Jason. There are a lot of safe motorcyclists, but there are a lot of more crazy people that think that after riding their bike for 10 minutes thy are Evil Kenevil.

I am afraid of the invincible motorcyclists.

Last week I was in heavy traffic on the highway. Suddenly I hear a loud bang, and see a motorcyclist leaning against my car, my wing mirror is out of place where he hit it and his own mirror is destroyed. I opened the window and shouted out, asking what damage he'd done. He said none-and rode off!

I was nervous of course, and didn't believe him. But when I got to work it was fine. He'd just hit my mirror.

Thing was he was stupid-weaving through the traffic, trying to beat the jam and he came unstuck. That's what scares me.
