I hate it when the temperature gets near freezing (and especially if it goes below) because I can't get my bike to start! It's a real bummer. I'm personally warm even in cold weather, so I would cheerfully ride if the bike would go!
That's so weird that you brought this up because just the other day I saw someone on their bike and was like "wth?" If I had a bike there is no way I would ride in the winter time. People can barely drive when there isn't snow or cold weather so I would be terrified of getting hit.
Well, there is the "other drivers" danger, true, but most people around here do pretty well (and we don't usually have snow or ice here because I'm in the south). I use the back roads a lot, too.
