I saw some guys out riding yesterday. There were probably 25 bikes in a row. It was cool - about a half hour later I saw them all under a underpass trying to stay dry. It was pouring out. It's cold here now too.

Have you put away your bike yet?

A friend of mine has a gold wing and he is very upset that the cold weather came so quick this year. He is in his mid 60's right now and him with the wife love going on long road trips and now its the time to get the car back out again.

I agree... usually you can ride into November but the weather lately is just bad. It rains one day and the next it's frosty! You just can't chance it - I mean you can but you will be cold.

I think the diehard bikers will be going until it snows. I always feel bad for people on bikes when it is really cold or raining hard.

My brother had to put his up, but it was because the chain broke and not because of the weather. He rode it last winter when the temperature was barely above freezing!
