Default Aftermarket body kits

I've been thinking about buying an aftermarket body kit for my project car, but I was wondering what everyone else's opinion is on body kits. Would you put a full body kit on your car, or do you think it looks better without?

Aftermarket body kits are great for making your car look unique. If you just bought a popular brand new car, and if money is not an issue to you, I highly recommend it.

I once returned to a parking area and found two cars of the same model and color as mine parked next to mine. Such thing would happen rarely. But at that moment I really wished my car was more unique.

I owned a Fiero GT for a number of years (I have a 'thing' for oddball cars), and was SOOOO tempted to buy and put a Lambo body kit onto it. Having seen one done up like that, I thought it was wicked-cool.

Ohhh... a Pontiac Fiero GT! Another awesome car of the 80s that I almost wish I had...

Did yours have a fastback or a notchback body style? I think a body kit would look better on a notchback, but that's just my preference.

It was the fastback with the V-6 in it; leather seats, it was silver with dark silver body trim. It had a really throaty rumble, a VERY heavy clutch (I had one mechanic admit he'd never seen a woman drive that particular model) and a really heavy/odd throw-pattern on the shifter.

The air dam design was an issue, though, the steering would "float" at speeds over 80 mph. Fiat X1/9's did the opposite: the faster you drove, the harder the car pulled itself down to the road surface, giving you greater 'feel' and control.
