I have an analog dash, with lots of gauges and a few idiot lights. I have a friend who has a digital dash, which looks cool, but I feel like it has more potential for something going wrong.

Digital dashboards are not a bad thing, necessarily: a single wire can kill a digital or analogue dash.

I like my gauges analogue, or a 'combination' of digital and analogue. I tend to mind the tachometer even in an automatic.

I think digital dashboards are awesome. There are so many things they can do with a digital dash that can't be done with analog. Plus, it looks cool.

I prefer a mostly analogue dash too in all honesty. Cars are becoming more and more computerized, and it seems like it is becoming increasingly like there are new potentials for major failures.

I have to admit that I like the digital dashboard. Unfortunately, I can't afford a car with all the bells and whistles of a digital dashboard. However, I agree that it is a little worrisome because computerize stuff tend to break more easily.
