A friend was helping her dad with something and driving his car, someone ran a red light, smashed the car in front of hers tweaking it and then it bounced off her fender. Wow. I just could not imagine being behind the wheel of someones vehicle and getting hit.

Oh, that would be horrible! I knew a girl in college who did that one worse - she was borrowing someone else's car and *rear-ended a police officer*! That would be awful!

I have been hit before while sitting still. It's horrible and very scary. It's one thing to see it coming, but for it to just happen, it really takes a minute to figure out what the heck just happened.

That's horrible! That's what I don't really like about driving. We could drive so carefully, applying all we have learned about defensive driving, and still we got in an accident due to another driver's fault.

I am wondering how many people get tickets or fines (and points) just because of a triple or even double mixup like this one. Just last night another friend was on facebook saying she got a speeding ticket as the car in front of her on the highway zipped over to the slow lane right as the cop came within distance. The friend was staying with the flow of traffic but the cop still nailed her with the fine and not the other guy.
