Last Friday, we had friends coming over from about an hour away. About 3/4 of the way here, they were stopped by a wreck. We found out this week that one of the two killed in the wreck was cousin to another friend of ours. The worst part is that it was his fault. He was racing and slipped across the line and hit head on another car; both drivers were killed and both cars burned. The guy with whom he was racing was not involved. It's a sad thing.

Yes, you have my condolences. It is always sad when something like this happens. It is a good reminder as to why people shouldn't race. It is very dangerous.

Thoughts and prayers go out to you and the families of the victims. This is one of the reasons I try to not watch the news so much because there are too many tragedies like this. I feel bad when people learn in the hardest ways what's not safe to do on the road.

Wrecks are a very hard thing to deal with and when you know those involved its even harder. I would try to stay out of the middle as there will be someone who always has a loud mouth that says the wrong thing at the wrong time. Good luck!

That is a really horrible and unfortunate incident. You're post is a good reminder for the younger generation. Life can be snuffed out in an instant. Be very careful and do not take any unnecessary risks.

Oh, how sad. You all with be in my thoughts and prayers. You always hear about stuff like that in the news...but to witness it, and then have someone you know involved...it can be rather shocking!

Yes, hopefully thoughts and prayers will help to bring comfort to family and friends in knowing people care. There is an empty feeling that only those who have lost a close relative can comprehend.

Thank you all. Our friend (whose cousin it was) has been taking it really hard. He and his girlfriend had just visited with the cousin less than a week before. Terrible thing.

Hopefully, time will reduce the tragedy of their loss. Memories can help keep lost ones close, and the love one has for the one lost will help alleviate the pain. It may help to deliver these words to the family.

A few months ago a friend of mine from Reno had his cousin and two of the guys three kids in the car with a nasty accident just like this one. It is a horrible feeling when you come across something like this.
