A lot of people do car washes to raise money for different causes (like the one benefiting pets at a rescue center http://cjonline.com/news/2011-05-29/...ses-money-pets ). Do you think this is an effective way to raise funds? I wonder if they would get just as much if they just asked for donations?
I'm not sure. Some of these drives actually annoy me-like the bag packers. Store bag packers are one thing-they know what they are doing. When 8 year olds pack your bags, everything gets smashed. I tell them to leave my goods alone and that I'll still give a donation.
