Default Cars in movies and mass produced cars

Do you know any mass produced cars whose concepts and designs originate from they are of cars on movies (James Bond's cars, Batmobile, the car in Knight Rider, etc.)?

I'm not sure of any mass produced cars that were/are based off movie cars, but there are lots of them the other way around. The original K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, for example, was based off a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am (my favorite ), and the later K.I.T.T. is a 2008-2009 Ford Shelby GT500KR. But there are so many other movie cars based off of real cars that I couldn't list them all here.

Yeah of course. The General Lee is actualy a Dodge Charger. James Bond use Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW and some others. I have another question though. Do you think in the real life, the cars could actually be modified to the point?

Wow, a lot of those cars sure bring back some memories. Could these cars be modified to their T.V. and movie versions? I think they can be to an extent, enough to look just like them. I've seen lots of really good replicas that look so much like their movie version, you couldn't tell the difference. Of course you wouldn't be able to include the weapons and fancy gadgets that some of them had, or give them A.I. or indestructibility. You could try, though, lol. I wouldn't mind building a Knight Rider replica one day.

I agree with you. I think you can just modify the appearance, but not the performance and the features. I would love to see a Batmobile replica on the road.

Do you mean like these: http://www.chickslovethecar.com/Default.aspx
It's an actual website dedicated to just Batmobiles. They look pretty mean. Now all they need is a real Batman.
