Chevy just announced it's brand new line of electric cars called the "Volt". Sticker price is $41,000, which is almost $8,000 more than it's nearest competitor. Would you buy it?

I'm partial to the Nissan Leaf. It seems odd that after so many false starts of promises of mass produced lines of electric cars in the past 40 years that they might actually come true. Which is what a Chevy Volt tells me.

It may cost more in the short term, look at how much you'll save in fuel terms. I assume that the volt is a completely electric car, not a hybrid?
