Do you suppose some cars are just deer magnets?

My last car was a white Honda Civic. Everywhere I drove, every time of day, evening, morning or night, deer would run out in front of that car. Finally I sold the car to a guy down the street, and warned him about that car and deer. He laughed it off, saying deer know better than to run in front of him. A week later his headlight was smashed up. He said a deer jumped right in front of him.

I've been in my current car (a gold Chrysler minivan) for more than a year. The only deer I have seen have been grazing far off on hillsides.
