Has anyone ever used one of those engine oil additives like Engine restore or Lucas? If you have what did you think about it?

I never saw the need for it if you change your oil out when you're supposed to. Then again, I never had a high performance type car.

I've never used oil additives I've never seen the point as many modern oils have all sorts of additives in them already to preserve the engine.

I have used them. I find if you add them when you change your oil it can really protect your engine. I have used it for a very long time and I have less care repairs than anyone I know.
