One good profit source for dealers is extras such as rustproofing, fabric protection, paint sealant, and etching your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on windows to deter thieves. These are all details that you can do yourself. Don’t waste your money. What could cost the dealer about $90 can cost you $1,000 or more.
I think those are are really great do it yourself projects. What I love about them is that they are really great places for someone new to working on cars to start. After all if you make a mistake it is easily fixed and will not risk how your car runs.
I suppose you could do them yourself but they do sound rather fancy don't they. I will admit that I have never taken on any of those projects. Maybe I will look in to them tough.
