Default Flat Tire Experiences

Share your worst flat tire experience!

Mine isn't all that dramatic or anything. I was on vacation up in Washington driving on the highway with a few cars behind me when I suddenly felt a sort of thud. My car stopped accelerating so I pulled off to the side. My tired was flat and I was at least an hour away from the nearest city with an auto shop. I called up AAA and they told me it would take a couple hours to get to me and it was getting dark. We just put the spare on and drove to the next town and all was well.

It is good that it went flat and did not blow out. I keep a full sized spare, if I get a flat I just change it out and move on. I don't have any super exciting experiences either.

I have had one blow on me and let me tell you it was a pretty scary experience that resulted in me loosing control. I was very lucky that I did not get hurt! Anyhow, I thought triple AAA would have been quicker than that.

That sounds scary! I'm always worried about having a blowout. I've seen one on the freeway where a car coming towards me suddenly started spinning. I can't imagine how scary it would be to be in that car!

I thought AAA would be quicker too but I guess if you're in a rural area that's just how it is.

I have never had one that was bad and I only had one total. I pulled into the drive way, noticed the slow flat, changed it and then went into the house after getting all of the groceries out. Watch, in a week I will be back here reporting that I had a horrible issue.
