Have you ever used that flat tire repair stuff that comes in a can? Somehow I just don't have a good feeling about that stuff being effective. Would it get you by in a pinch?

I haven't even heard of this stuff that you are talking about. What's the concept? Spray it on and instant repair, or something like that? You have me curious now so I'm eager to learn more about it.

I did once when I was younger. The mechanic hated me for it, as it makes the tire a PITA to get off I guess. It did its job and got me to the shop to get a new tire. But its more for a small hole, like running over a nail, not if your tire gets slashed.

I've used it. It's called Fix-A-Flat and it works great to get you to a place where you can get the tire fixed. Like Jason said, it's for a small hole not a slash. Be sure to tell whoever fixes the tire that you've used it because it can be dangerous for them if they don't know about it.

I had heard of it, but I didn't put much stock in the idea of it. It sounded kind of like a gimmick to me. Glad to know it can help in a pinch.
