Default Gas prices - conflicting thoughts

I checked the news for gas price information. I found an article from Cincinnati saying gas prices are expected to continue to rise. There was another article, from Atlanta, that says gas prices are expected to stabilize. Who should we believe?? Gas here is over $3.00 a gallon, already.

Gas is over $3.00 a gallon here and is $3.20 in some places in Indiana. A man who has ties with some big-wigs in the oil industry is saying that it's going to keep going up and will reach $4.00 to $6.00 a gallon. He's been right before.

Sigh! When will we ever stop depending on fossil fuel? Why do they have to keep going up? Too much scientific research about the moon and Mars but not even a fraction to make our life here on earth better.

I don't know who to believe anymore. Our gas is $3.33 right now a gallon. It's crazy! It is constantly going up and I'm getting real sick of it! I don't know how much more they think we can pay!

The problem is, they have us over a barrel (pun more or less intended). Most of us *have* to buy gas to get to work, and at the same time, we can't yet afford the electric or hybrid vehicles that would lessen our dependence on the gas.

Yeah, I don't see it ever really dropping again. I remember when I first came to America, and it was just over a dollar a gallon. It's quite shocking how much it went up-yet other places have it far worse! Look at the UK's prices!
