I could never imagine doing that to someone's car. I was in a parking lot today, and the car parked next to me had been keyed so bad. It had quite a few colorful words scratched in, and then lines running the entire length of the car. Has this ever happened to you?

Fortunately, no it hasn't, but I have friends who have experienced this. It's a real bite in the butt when it happens. It's such a low thing to do.

My brother's car was keyed after he broke up with his girlfriend of 4 years. There was never any proof she did it, but we all just assumed.

I don't know what I would do if that happened to my car. It wouldn't be good.

Yes, unfortunately. We had parked at Home Depot and when we came back out, there were two lines scraped all the way around the vehicle. If it had been a newer car, I would have been really upset, but it really didn't make a LOT of difference on the car I was driving at the time.

Yes it has happened and I do hate it, besides the disrespect also quite expensive to deal with. I am somewhat floored by the prices I have seen others have to pay to fix something like this, it only takes a moment to key a car but it can take way too much money to fix. I know of a few that just "left it there" rather than pay the price.
