Default How fast do you think you can go over the speed limit?

How fast do you think you can go over the posted limits without getting a ticket? I am not sure myself but I usually go 5-10 over and have no problems.

It depends on the road, but for the most part I drive 10 miles over the speed limit and have never been pulled over. However, some roads that are winding and have a lot of blind turns I tend to go the speed limit or less.

I go between the speed limit and five over. Here they have speed cameras all over the place. If you get caught they mail you a ticket that is an automatic $120. I can't afford that so I don't go fast.

They have a speed limit for a reason. Going over is breaking the law. While they *usually* don't give tickets until you get to a certain amount over, they *can* give a ticket for as little as one mph too fast, if they choose.

When I'm not paying attention to my speedometer, I usually catch myself going slower than the posted limit, though.

I usually try to go no more than 5 MPH over the speed limit. When I see a cop I'll go exactly the limit, unless he is in front of me and going fast, I'll pick up speed too. I've never had a speeding ticket in my life.

My brother has the same attitude as far as going one mph over the speed limit. We always argue about this. I tell him there is no way you'd ever get a ticket for going that little above the speed limit. His point is that cops have little to do sometimes, and they need to meet their quota. I'd love to hear from someone who's gotten a ticket for going less than 5 mph over the speed limit. That just sounds ridiculous to me.
