Default Mud in the Parking Lot - Oops!

In the parking lot outside my apartment my friend got into an accident. Apparently she was trying to park and hit a mud patch that sent her into her boyfriend's truck. They both have some decent sized dents and the boyfriend was not thrilled at all.

Ouch- I bet he wasn't thrilled. Not her fault but still! Sounds like she might have been driving too fast in the lot anyway. Usually when you are going slow and you hit mud you would not do much damage if you hit something.

I agree,it sounds like she was driving too fast. I would have been really upset with her too if I was the boyfriend. I hope they can get them fixed without too much trouble.

I don't doubt that she was driving too fast. It sounds like her. I think everybody is fortunate that there wasn't anybody out there to get hit at the time.

Wow, that would really be irritating - for both of them. Do you know if they bothered to file a claim with their insurance, or did they decide to just let it go? Hope he didn't get too mad at her.

They decided not to do anything with insurance. The damage was all cosmetic and I think they both just wanted to forget about it. I know I probably wouldn't bother. Who knows what insurance might decide to do. I think they were on the same policy.

That had to be amazing mud and very bad tires to do that much damage. I know once a friend of mine went off the side of the road (thought it was only water), hit a mud spot and rutted the side of the road up pretty bad. It happens.

That makes me really glad that my driveway is paved. My mom would have a cow if I slid on the mud and hit dad's car! Well, so would my dad, for that matter.
