The AAP has just issued new recommendations for children's car seats. Studies have shown that kids are safer rear facing till at least two years old.

Have you ever had a kid who was rear facing for longer?

My niece and nephew were both rear facing until almost 2 because they were premature, and took forever to reach the 20lb limit to be turned around.

I think it's a great idea, the crash test videos that support it are crazy!
