My car was not happy about be driven in the subzero temps this morning. I let it warm up for 20 minutes and it was still cold inside. It took another 20 minutes for the windows to completely defrost.

Wow. That's pretty bad. is that an older car you're driving? I had the same type of problem when I was driving a 1989 Chevy. It just would not heat up. Turned out that the thermostat was not opening properly. When we changed the thermostat, the car warmed up more quickly.

My car does not like the below zero temps either. I swear it takes longer for this car to warm up then my last one. I start it earlier but it takes forever. I want 70s again!

It is about 10 years old, but it has a brand new thermostat in it. It was below zero outside though so that is why it was taking so long to warm up.

We have had a warmer winter this year than last, so the car's been okay. I worry about it when it gets freezing around here, but we've been lucky this year. My heater isn't working nearly as efficiently as it should be, but I've held off with fixing it.
