Default Out of state ticket

I just got a ticket for speeding while visiting my brother out of state. If the report it to my state, how long would it take? How long do the state report it to the insurance company? I can't afford for my auto insurance to go up. Do you think that if I get a class to reduce the points, the insurance won't go up?

I have heard that there are about 41 states that report to each other when driver's get tickets. It says that it usually take 2 months for the ticket to be on your driving abstract. I don't really know how long will it before the insurance company finds out. I do recommend you take care of it as soon as possible because once the insurance company gets a hold of the information, they increase your premium for up to three years. I know from experience.
