Default Repaint

I hate seeing the random dings in the front of my car from interstate driving, someone ahead of me kicks up a rock and then bam my paint is chipped. When is it worth it to repaint a full car?

I do not know about painting the whole car for just some dings. I would wait until the paint looks really bad. I believe I have seen some stuff you can use on just small areas that need painting. I don't know if it really works and I guess it depends on if you can match your paint color.

With as expensive as it is to repaint, I think I would try the touch-up stuff first. It seems like it is pretty easy to use and if you match it well, it should look great.

I do not like the idea of touchup paints, tried that so far and it works pretty bad. I might just wait and see how it goes, the car is kept out of weather so at least that is a plus.

Repainting the car is a waste of time and money for a few dings. They can be made to look just fine with some buffing and touching up. It will save you a lot of money to do it that way.

I wouldn't repaint it for a few chips either. As soon as you get it repainted, bam you have more chips and scratches. Why bother? It seems like a big waste of money!

If you DO opt to repaint it, I would recommend that you get one of those "car bras" or something like it to cover the front so it won't get messed up again as quickly.

I would not repaint it either, especially if you do a lot of driving where you are getting dinged up. Repainting is really expensive, but if you do the touch up stuff right it is really hard to spot it. You could also opt to just have the front repainted.
