I was thinking about this the other day. Which would you think would be the safer vehicle-a four door car or a crew cab truck? I've seen accidents where either were wrecked and it seems like the cars usually take the worst of the accident. What do you think?
So many things factor into safety - the likelihood of the vehicle getting into an accident, the safety of head-on collision vs. a roll vs. a side-hit. Personally, I'd prefer to be in the car for an accident becuase the lighter back weight and rear wheel drive of a truck can make it unpredictable, but that's just me.
We have a mini van and it has airbags out the ears. It also has a lot of other safety features that I like. But it just seems so light in weight and the doors are so thin I just don't think it's the safest vehicle. After last year's two accidents, I thinking of getting a tank!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
