Why do people think that waving makes them immune to being splattered by a car? Seriously, I'm sick of driving through our city center, where people just walk out in front of your car. Use a crossing!

Yep. If they would crack down on jaywalking, there would be a lot less of it. Where I live, there are enough crosswalks that there is really no excuse for jaywalking!

I have one even better. On my way to the kids school, I have to turn left at a light that have a left turn green light. It is short lived and only about 3 or 4 cars can go through before you have cars coming at you. I hate that people cross when I have my green arrow and they have the DO NOT cross. At least 6 times a week, I can't cross when I have the green light and have to wait to the next one. I drives me bananas.

I would love to resurrect the jay walking law in my town. In the center of town, it looks like people should have license plates because they just cruise in the middle of the street more than cars.

Bring back the crossing guards, and put a camera up over the crosswalks: pics of the ones that do it WRONG get put on a loop-feed on television.

Bet that'd stop folks from stepping out when they shouldn't ! HAHAHHA
