Default What's UP With Gas Prices?

Are gas prices going up where you live? They're up to $3.20 from around $2.80 a couple of weeks ago here. I'm hoping they don't go up much more, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do.

I haven't bought any gas for several days, but they were staying pretty constant here. I wonder if they've jumped up since I bought gas. I'll have to check the next time I'm out.

It seems like every year around the holidays, they tend to go up. I guess it's because of people traveling to relatives homes. Hopefully they'll go back down after the holidays.

They been climbing here since about mid-November. The price per gallon has gone up at least 30 cents since then, and is still going. Hopefully after the new year things will calm down again.

Yeah they are going up. They say it is because they are making more oil for heating purposes. But it happens every time this year. Just another excuse to raise prices.

I didn't think about the holidays being the cause of the prices going up, but it does happen around this time of the year. I don't believe any of the "reasons" they might give, unless they admit that they do it because they know demand will go up and they can make more money. They're not going to ever admit that. I just wonder if they'll come down now that the holidays are over.
