Default Wheeless cars?

I just came across old news about Audi Shark, a conceptual four-ringed hovercraft which won an Audi's design competition. I wonder how it looks like, as the video about it has been removed from YouTube.

Yeah, that's it. Thanks Jason for embedding the video. It looks awesome, right? Do you think there chance the concept car will go into mass production someday?

That's fantastic. Using hovercraft technology, I guess the car would be more fuel efficient compared to the regular cars (or not?). Hope someday our automotive technology is advanced enough to support production of the car.

Wow! That would take some getting used to, but I like it. I'd like not having to buy tires, too. I wonder if it's possible that we'll be using those one day.

Good point Byker. Tires are getting more expensive now and I would love not to spend my money on them. The government doesn't need to spend too much money from tax payers on building highway systems either.

I can't help but wonder about the downsides. I know there would be plenty of pros for a vehicle like this (not even counting it's awesome looks!) but nothing is perfect.

Well, I agree with you, nothing is perfect. It would be a wonderful car but it wouldn't work, you couldn't push the car to get it started.
