Well, I don't think so. I want to neither waste money nor risk my life. I would rather go for other brands like Ford. What about Prius? Is there any issue with that hybrid car?
Certainly not. I think it is funny how other car makers modeled their production after Toyota with their lean manufacturing and their image has been trampled now with one huge problem. It makes you wonder what really went on inside the Toyota factories.
Personally no Toyota's for me and its not all about the issues going on, which to a point I can slightly understand. For me, I just do not like Toyota's as much as I do others.
I'm still a bit weary but I think if I was keen on one I wouldn't let the recall madness cloud my judgement.
We had a safety recall on our new car where the seatbelt would get tighter and tighter and you couldn't extend it! I thought it was funny but I couldn't imagine how a claustrophobic person would feel if it happened to them!
Nope! Never... I don't want my vehicle telling me how fast I'm going to drive. It's still way too scary for me. I know a lot of recalls have been out there for different vehicles too, but this one sounds a bit too scary for me to want to buy a Toyota.
I've been a loyal Toyota lover since I was a child, and it saddens me to be made to feel hesitant because of the current problems. I would still buy a Toyota not on the list of affected cars, keeping in mind that the number of people experiencing problems is a small percentage of the total number of cars out there.
Right now, I would take off Toyota on my list if ever I will buy a brand new car. But I might still buy a Toyota in the future. I think that they have learned their lessons and they will be much careful now. It will surely affect their credibility if another recall will be done and that will surely seal my decision in not buying a Toyota.
