I saw one of these on some quick commercial clip last evening when we were watching something stupid but it stuck with me so I had to look it up. A little on the short side for a Bug but it does look kind of beefy.
That's sweet! I've always been a huge van of Volkswagen (new and old), especially the Beetle. I just love that new body style. I wonder if it's any higher priced that the old one? I'll have to do some research on this, that might just be my next new car.
It did look a little odd with it being a tad stretched out but I think it fits well I mean we are rolling into 2011. By now I would have thought as a child that we would be sporting flying cars already.
I have always wanted a buggy, but it doesn't make sense right now for our family. I think this is one of those cars that are never going to disappear because they bring a huge air of nostalgia. Maybe when the kids are gone and it is only my husband and I, I can indulge in one.
My uncle had one of the original ones until about 10 years ago. It really brings back memories every time I see one on the road. However, I haven't seen that many in my area lately.
Wow! Now that's something I could see myself in. It is most certainly a step up for the bug. It looks really sporty, not what you would normally think of when someone say VW Bug.
